Frequently asked questions F.A.Q.

What is a bee therapy room?

A bee therapy room is a specially designed space equipped with beds built over active beehives.
The hives are constructed in a way that allows the bees to fly outside, while the purified hive air enters the room.

This air is naturally filtered, disinfected, and enriched inside the living laboratory of the bee colony before reaching the visitor.

Can breathing hive air make you feel better?

Hive air is naturally warmed to around 36°C and contains a unique mixture of pheromones, beeswax particles, essential oils, enzymes, and terpene compounds.
Studies have shown its antimicrobial, antiviral, and antibacterial properties, as well as its potential therapeutic benefits.

Hive-air inhalation may support individuals experiencing asthma, insomnia, cardiovascular challenges, respiratory conditions, and nervous system disorders.

Feedback from users consistently reports a calming, energizing effect, along with noticeably easier and deeper breathing.

What Is Propolis Inhalation Therapy?

Propolis is often called the “natural antibiotic” of the bees. There are numerous studies demonstrating its antiviral, antifungal, and antibacterial properties.

During propolis inhalation, raw propolis is gently heated in a specialized device to activate its volatile therapeutic compounds. A mask is placed over the nose and mouth, and for 10–15 minutes the user inhales the vapor, which contains the majority of propolis’ beneficial active ingredients.

What is hive air inhalation therapy?

A filter is installed on the hive wall, connected to a system of tubes and hoses that ends with an inhalation mask. The mask is placed over the face, and hive air is inhaled for 15–20 minutes.

The air inside the hive is naturally sterile and enriched with a wide range of volatile bioactive compounds. Its aroma is a gentle blend of honey, beeswax, propolis, royal jelly, and the essence of various medicinal plants collected by the bees.

What is hive air like?

Hive air is a warm, slightly humid mixture with a natural herbal aroma. Bees are extremely precise and selective when it comes to air quality inside the hive. Regardless of outside conditions, they maintain the ideal temperature and humidity with an accuracy of 2–3°C.

To achieve this, bees actively ventilate the hive by rapidly fanning their wings — refreshing the air inside 100 to 200 times per day!

How long does the therapy last?

Inhalation sessions last 15–20 minutes, while bee-room therapy takes 20–40 minutes.
The duration may vary depending on the individual needs and condition of each client.

Is it child-friendly?

All treatments are recommended for children above the age of 3.

For children with allergies, a consultation must be performed initially.

Is there a risk of being stung?

While you are inside the house, there is no danger of stinging because the bees do not enter. The built-in hives are constructed in such a way that the bees can only exit outside the house, leaving only their aroma and atmosphere inside.

While you are on the street in front of the house, the probability of stinging is the same as when walking in a field.
